About us
Primary business of our company was manufacturing candles and wicks. Initially, materials for their production were imported.
The starting point of the present company was to produce our own product, Initially for our own use, then for the Polish and foreign markets.
This period was full of countless experiences and resulted in the production of the final product as well as highly specialized lines for the production of twine and its preparation. That is why in 2009 the production of twine was separated from home business and now operates as a separate economic entity under the name "Myszalin".
Our products
Twine type E
This twine has octagonal-round shape and is produced from 100% pure cleaned cotton. Twine type "E" has cotton core. A special braiding process of this twine leads to its natural twisting during combustion which results in less smoke and helps with self burning of the twine. It also minimize the char at the burning end of twine.
Twine type N
This is a flat twine with cotton core. The raw material is 100% cotton, that is undergoing the process of cleaning and whitening. Twine is impregnated with preparations ensuring auto extinguishing and also with preparations which improve capillary phenomenon and minimize smoke or eliminate it completely. Self burnout by achieving the appropriate wicks angle to the flame. These Twines are manufactured as standard in the following dimensions: N10,N12,N14,N15,N18,N21,N24,N27 and N30.
These twines are widely used in particular for the production of rustic candles, tealights, pillar candles and graveyard lights .
Size of the twine is selected to the required diameter of melt pool. Pool size is largely dependent on the type of wax used, added dyes and fragrances.
Twine type PC
This twine has octagonal-round shape and is produced from 100% pure cleaned cotton. The core of this twine is made of paper that is made from 100% pure cellulose. Twine is characterized by a high stability during the burning. Its gentle twist during combustion helps itself in scorching flames.
Twine is produced in a wide range of sizes. Most commonly used are Pc3, Pc5 Pc7. Those twines are widely popular with the producers of graveyard lights.
Twine type ST
This is the Product for the most demanding. Twine is woven from 100% cotton with addition of paper. Its most important feature is very strong capillarity. Perfect for heavy fuels. Additionally, it has all the features of string "N" such as auto extinguishing, minimization of smoke or elimination of it completely and self burnout by achieving the appropriate wicks angle to the flame.
